Petzl Clown
The multi-directional shape of the Clown dictates that it be used without a carabiner or Maillon Rapide. Its shape holds the rope away from the rock face avoiding rope abrasion. Made of an aluminum alloy with 8 mm captive screw . This is the only Petzl made aluminum hanger which can be used in a ceiling placement.
This hanger is rigged with the rope, then screwed into the bit when placed.
